Additional Restrictions Due to The Rising Cases Of COVID-19
Plaquemines Parish —As we continue to monitor COVID-19 throughout Plaquemines Parish, Governor John Bel Edwards will issue an Executive Order Monday, July 13th, calling for additional restrictions due to the rising cases of COVID-19 across the state.
Three key changes that will go into effect on Monday, July 13, and continue through Friday, July 24 include:
- A Statewide mask mandate for all individuals ages eight and older unless the individual meets an exemption exception as outlined in the full order: https://gov.louisiana.gov/index.cfm/newsroom/detail/2591
- All Bars with and without LDH food permits will close indoors. Bars can offer curbside pickup.
- Limitations on the number of attendees at an indoor gathering (such as a party or shower). Those gatherings will be limited at 50 attendees indoors.
