Plaquemines Parish President Honors Healthcare Workers with Flyover

Plaquemines Parish Government

Plaquemines Parish, LA- Plaquemines Parish President Kirk Lepine will recognize healthcare workers, first responders, and government employees with a parish-wide flight on Thursday, May 21 beginning at 10 o’clock. “As we celebrate National EMS Week, we are incredibly grateful for the emergency medical services providers who save lives every day and play a vital role in caring for our community, especially during this pandemic,” said Lepine.

Below is the helicopter’s route and a list of other first responder stations the helicopter will fly over.

The flight will include all the parish fire stations, Plaquemines Parish Historic Courthouse, Plaquemines Medical Center, and Riverbend Nursing Home.
