The Plaquemines Parish Government is monitoring COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Residents are asked to monitor local media for more information as it becomes available. For COVID-19 Testing, residents may go to Plaquemines Medical Center. The public is advised to take regular CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) precautions & protective measures at this time

One hundred forty (140) Positive Cases and eleven (11) deaths as of April 13, 2020
PMC: 118 test performed, counting the nine that were done on the Eastbank last week.
68 negatives, 43 positives, and seven test pending results.

Shopping for Supplies: send only one family member, wash hands before and after shopping, don’t touch your face, and avoid close contact with others.
Food Delivery: avoid close contact with others, use sanitizing wipes, wash your hands before and after deliveries, request deliveries be left outside your door, disinfect all packaging.
Essential Work: disinfect work area often, avoid close contact with others, and meet virtually.
