CDC Guideline for Spraying and Not Spraying

Do Not Spray:

Weather Conditions- Rain, Fog, Cold 

Wind Speed Greater than 10 MPH 

Mosquito Season Typically runs from April through October; Preparation starts February and March Larvicide Treatment of ditches, catch basins, drains, setting light traps/gravid traps. 

Mosquitoes are the most active at dusk and dawn; therefore, trucks start spraying at dusk. 

Things to do around the house to help control mosquito population: 

Once a week, empty and scrub, turn over, cover, or throw out any items that hold water like tires, buckets, planters, toys, pools, birdbaths, flowerpot saucers, or trash containers. Mosquitoes lay eggs near water
