Evacuation Guidelines
Goal
The Plaquemines Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness’ goal is to provide its residents and businesses with all the necessary information needed to plan for an emergency or disaster of any kind. Disasters can be in the form of weather-related conditions or man-made disasters including a possible terrorist attack.
Some of these emergencies can be handled without major disruption in the Parish, while others may include a mandatory evacuation. Regardless, the Parish is prepared.
