Goal
The Plaquemines Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness’ goal is to provide its residents and businesses with all the necessary information needed to plan for an emergency, disaster of any kind, or to report suspicious activity. Disasters can be in the form of weather related conditions or man-made disasters including a possible terrorist attack.
Purpose
We encourage all residents and businesses to review the information provided and keep all important numbers and information where it is easily accessible should an emergency or disaster occur or to report suspicious activity.
Notifications
Plaquemines Parish will use this website, news stations, radio stations, and, if necessary, our own emergency personnel to inform residents and businesses when and if it is necessary for you to take precautionary measures or should the need to evacuate arise.
