2017 ALLIGATOR SEASON

APPLICATIONS FOR ESTABLISHED HUNTERS MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT & CAN BE OBTAINED BY LOGGING onto www.lagatorprogram.com, alligator hunting, documents, hunter applications or calling WL&F at 225-763-5492.
WL&F will issue tags in the New Orleans area August 8, 9 & 10.
ESTABLISHED ALLIGATOR HUNTERS- (Excluding 2016 lottery tag recipients)
Tag recipients of the 2007-08 hunting seasons will automatically be issued 5 tags each, providing they meet the eligibility requirements and submit their competed application & payment of $100 to the Plaquemines Parish Government at 333 F. Edward Hebert Blvd., Bldg. 100, Suite 225, Belle Chasse, LA before the deadline of July 21, 2016. Lottery tag winners from 2009-16 will NOT be eligible for the automatic tags, but can enter this year’s lottery drawing.
NEW HUNTER LOTTERY (Including 2016 lottery tag recipients)
A lottery will be held for new and previous lottery tag entrants. A ticket can be obtained at the above address from July 19-21, 2017, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please call 504-934-6395 for appointment. The drawing will be held Friday, July 21st at 3:30 p.m.
Two tags will be issued for each lottery number drawn and $40.00 collected. Winners will be notified immediately after the drawing.
PERSONS WHO ARE BONAFIDE RESIDENTS OF PLAQUEMINES PARISH (PROOF REQUIRED). ONLY THE HUNTER WHO IS OBTAINING THE LICENSE MAY PARTICIPATE. ALLIGATOR TAGS WILL NOT BE ISSUED TO ANYONE BORN ON OR AFTER SEPTEMBER 1, 1969 WITHOUT PRESENTING THEIR HUNTER EDUCATION CERTIFICATION CARD.
