Well known author and noted Mardi Gras expert Arthur Hardy will be the speaker at the Tuesday, February 5, meeting of the Plaquemines Historical Association. Internationally Hardy is considered the World’s foremost authority on Mardi Gras.
Hardy will discuss the history of Mardi Gras through the years. He will also have copies of his Mardi Gras Guide available for purchase and signing at the end of his presentation.
The Plaquemines Historical Association meeting is the first Tuesday night of the month (except when it falls on a holiday) at 6:30 PM at the Belle Chasse American Legion Hall, 102 Hunt Street. Meetings are free. Let the good times roll, bring a friend.
