The Regional Planning Commission invites citizens to attend a community open house meeting on the proposed replacement of the Belle Chasse Tunnel and Bridge.

The public can attend the open house meeting any time between 5:00 and 8:00 pm to view information, ask questions and offer comments. The information available at this meeting will acquaint the public with the project and updates since the last public meeting occurred on June 7, 2016 as well as outline the preferred alternative under consideration, a new 4-lane, 73-foot fixed bridge over the GIWW with pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and potential construction financing.
